The network provides funding for Early Career Focused Meetings.
The Network will provide support for one ECR meeting a year that focuses on networking, discussion and dissemination of information between early career researchers, as well as discussion of career progression. Applications can be form any early career researcher.
To apply for this opportunity, you must be a member of the foldamer network (select “Join Network” above), and work within the UK. ECR meetings must be held in the UK (either in academia or industry) and one 1 day meeting is funded per year up to £3,000 per meeting to pay for travel and sustenance.
Applications are accepted year-round and reviewed in cycles. To be considered in the next review round please submit your application by 1 December 2025, 11:59 GMT. Funding decisions for this round will be communicated in January 2026.
